Activities are usually grouped into EAPs (Project Breakdown Structure), which (in general) represent the scope of the project.

a)   To add activities:

  • Click the Project View icon on the Schedule ribbon
  • Click on a blank line and in the Tasks Name column type the name of the activity

  • Enter the activity type and duration. Optionally enter the calendar (if you want to designate a calendar other than the project's default calendar)
  • Create relationships between activities. Use the Predecessors column to enter the ID of the preceding activities:

Alternatively, double-click on the activity and in the Predecessors tab select the desired predecessors (allows editing of the relationship type and lag)
