Projects, by default, will use the work periods defined in the Project Options module.

When necessary, new calendars can be created:

a) Select the Schedule tab on the ribbon and click the Change Working Time icon:

b) Click the New button to create a new calendar:

c) Enter a name and choose the base calendar to be copied as a reference to the new calendar according to the information on the following screen:

d) Click on the title of the day of the week (Saturday) and click on the Standard Working Time button to make saturday as a worked period:

e) Select the month of December, click on the 24th and click on the Nonworking Time option to create a holiday for this day:

f) Repeat this process for the 25th and 31st of December. Click Ok to finish creating the calendar.

g) To make it the default calendar for the new project, click on the Project Settings icon and select the calendar created in the Deterministic box in the Project Calendars section. When finished, click Ok:
